join our team!

We have several staff positions open and we welcome you to apply. A term with Daughters of Promise provides a valuable opportunity to work with a large creative team and continue honing your own creative talent.

We ask all staff to acknowledge their willingness to support and uphold the DOP Guiding Principles in the content they provide to the magazine. We understand that DOP’s conservative Anabaptist position is not for everyone. Before applying, please review our Guiding Principles to be sure that you can support them should you be brought onto our team. Thank you!

Photographers

Staff photographers will provide images to accompany 1-2 articles per issue over the course of their term. They will work closely with the Photography Director to understand the vision for each photoshoot and the issue as a whole.

DOP strives to maintain an aesthetic that is warm and humble, yet rich in attention to detail and assignment of beauty to the ordinary things of life. We are seeking photographers who are able to capture the emotion, narrative, and beauty of life through their own unique creativity. Please review our Pinterest style guide to gain a sense of the DOP aesthetic.
